Paul’s served with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police from April 1971 to November 1997. He was posted in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. In 1993 Paul transferred from PEI to the Northwest Territories. He was stationed in Aklavik, Fort Simpson, Rankin Inlet and Yellowknife.
Paul retired in 1997 and has lived in Yellowknife to this date. Paul has a Certificate in Business Management and has various courses related to High Performance Management, Time Management and Human Resource Management. Paul taught Security, Bylaw and Renewable Resource Officer courses. Paul has over seven years in providing Security on Northern Winter Roads as well as providing Security Officer for work in remote mine sites. Paul was the coordinator for the Joint Venture Management Committee winter road that travels from Yellowknife to the three-diamond mines northeast of Yellowknife. Paul also coordinated the Security for the Snap Lake Spur Road and the Colomac Winter Road.
Paul will oversee all winter road security operations for the DetonCho/Scarlet Security Services and would look forward to any inquiries from persons qualified to work winter roads in remote settings in Northern Canada.
