Who we are
Det'on Cho Scarlet Security is a joint venture between Det'on Cho Corporation and Scarlet Security Services. Scarlet Security Services is a Yellowknife-based security firm specializing in remote and isolated northern locations including mines and pipelines.
Det'on Cho Corporation is the economic development organization of the Yellowknives Dene First Nation, and is dedicated to creating prosperity for its members.
What we do
At Det'on Cho Scarlet Security, we specialize in fully
customized security solutions for northern industry, including
mines, pipelines and other remote and isolated locations. We
provide security services for the Tibbitt to Contwoyto winter
road – one of the longest in North America – as well as for
the Colomac lease road. We provide training and supervisory
services for workers on the De Beers Snap Lake mine spur
road linking the Tibbitt to Contwoyto road.
As a proud member of the Det'on Cho family of companies, it is
our priority to create capacity for members of the Yellowknives
Dene First Nation.
We work closely with the Mine Training
Society to develop training programs available to northern and
Aboriginal people.
